ABSTRACT
This outdoor workshop gives participants the opportunity toexperience the methods and educational potential of citizen science, while developing observation skills, critical thinking, and question-formulation abilities. It will also cover the organization of field-based citizen science projects and the most suitable tools for their implementation.

Chiara Fedrigotti holds a degree in Ecology and Evolution and works in research at the MUSE – Trento Science Museum on biodiversity monitoring and citizen science. Her interests include Alpine landscapes and biodiversity conservation. She is a PhD candidate at BOKU University in Vienna, focusing on citizen science and Natura 2000.

Maria Vittoria Zucchelli, a Biological Sciences graduate, works at MUSE – Trento Science Museum in environmental education and citizen science. She collaborates with universities, associations, and public institutions, focusing on participatory projects monitoring urban pollinators and biodiversity.
